Paul Pisasale and Nick Di Girolamo, the dodgy as f*ck businessman with interesting Italian connections who brought NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell down
The excerpt above is taken from a report published in 1999 by the Crime and Misconduct Commission (CMC), the precursor to the modern day Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC). The report was officially known as Gocorp interactive gambling licence: report on advice by R.W.Gotterson QC, and the subject matter is an attempted fraud on the public of Queensland by a number of elected government officials including the man currently in the eye of the needle, Paul Pisasale, although the planned heist is not actually identified in the report itself for it is nothing but a super-sized serving of salami that the average punter on the Geebung street would call a crock of crap but edumecated folk like me describe as a cover up.
Over the coming days we are going to publish a number of stories explaining the three coconut swindle that was pulled by the CJC to conceal the criminality of Pisasale and others, and it’s quite an interesting and instructive tale, albeit a complex one so make sure you have your thinking cap nearby when you begin to read it.
Just for now though you only need to know and understand two things.
The first is the truth of the old dictum once a crook, always a crook.
And the second is that Paul Pisasale is taking the piss out of all of us.
